Maria "Mary" Colunia Segura-Metzgar, from New Mexico, claims to be the real oldest Facebook user. At 105, she is 4 yours older than the current title holder.

Just a short while ago, 101-year-old Californian Florence Detlor was designated Facebook's oldest user by Zuckerberg, but Maria is asking for a recount.

According to the NY Daily News, the woman's 60-year-old grandson, Anthony Segura, was the one that created her account on the social networking site. He claims that he wasn't allowed by the website to enter his grandmother's real age, and had to input a smaller number.

"I tried to sign her up on Facebook a few months ago but it wouldn't accept her birth date. [...] Then I tried again and just put in 101 and it accepted it for the timeline, even though she was 104. […] Now on Facebook it says she's 102 when, in reality, she's 105," Segura said.

Maria was widowed twice. She has four children, and comes from a big family. She had 10 siblings, of which two brothers and two sisters are still alive today. Her sisters are 99-year-old and 97-year-old.
