Facebook has just updated its Android client, but just like in the past, the developers have yet to provide an official changelog. This would the third time that Facebook doesn’t think that users should know what changes the last update brings to its Android application.

According to the latest hearsay, this is just a minor update that is supposed to fix several bugs found in version 1.8.4. Other than that there are no other details available for the moment.

Unfortunately, people are still complaining about the quality of the Android application, which is a bit slow and laggy, especially when loading pictures.

Opposite to Facebook for iOS, which seems to have more fans, the Android version is still considered a work in progress by many users.

Facebook for Android is now available as a free download via Google Play and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up.
