Facebook’s recently launched Slingshot application has just received another update that promises to squash some of the bugs affecting it, but it also adds some new features into the mix.

For those unfamiliar with Slingshot, the application allows users to share pictures and videos with friends, but in order to do that, each user has to share something in return.

Well, it looks like Facebook decided to update the application with more reactions, which means you will now be able to respond to “slings” you receive in different ways.

According to the official changelog, Slingshot users will now be able to respond to any reaction with a photo, video or text. In addition, developers also included a new My People tab that will allow users to see everyone in one place.

With the latest version of Slingshot, users will be able to find their Facebook friends and phone contacts more easily, developers claim. The newest update also brings improved reliability for sign-up confirmation codes.

Last but not least, lots of bug fixes and other tweaks meant to improve user overall experience have been included in the update as well.

You can now download Slingshot for Android 1.1 for free via Google Play Store. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.
