14 DAY TRIAL // Facebook, the social networking website with more than 500 million active users in July 2010, has just updated its Android version with new features. The new update is a major upgrade for Android users, as it brings features that the iPhone version already had long ago. Some of the new key features included in the 1.3 update: events, friend requests and video playback. The ability to post a status update or search for friends with just one click.
After installing the new update, you will notice that the interface looks more eye-candy now. Everything has been redesigned and polished to look much better. Another interesting change is the way links that your friends shared on Facebook can be opened by simply clicking twice on the link.
Even though lots of new features have been added, there are still things that didn't make it into this update. One of the features that would've been nice to have is Chat. Let's hope the future update will bring up this one and many more.
