Facebook has debuted a cool new feature for the Timeline, one that really highlights just what the feature is good at. Thanks to a third-party developer, Facebook has created a Timeline movie maker, and named it just that, to enable users to tell the story of their lives, as seen on Facebook, in less than a minute.
The new
site asks for access to some of your Facebook data. In return, it picks the most relevant events in your life, based on much people interacted with it or on whether they hold a significant importance, a wedding and so on.
It then makes screen shots of all the posts, photos and so on and stitches them together in a chronological video. Users then have the choice of adding their own soundtrack to the movie and there are even funny sounds to mark the most important events.
