Facebook is playing with a new interface modification for its Events center

If you’re looking for a party near you, you can take advantage of Facebook and its famous Events center that received a nice new interface.

Aside from what you’re used to finding in the Events section, you’ll notice a brand new area – a tab called “Events for You.” Here, you’ll be able to find things you could enjoy even if you did not get an invite. You’ll be able to see exciting new events even if your friends aren’t going or you’ve never checked in the avenue.

This new extension makes Facebook events more than just a way to connect with your buddies, turning the section into a socialite’s calendar, letting you know about all the cool things happening in your area.

Facebook is using all the data it gathered on you to display attractive events that will make you want to go out of the house for once and maybe find new things to post about on the platform.

According to Tech Crunch, the feature is currently being tested out by a bunch of users from all over the world, but the rest should start getting access to it in the coming weeks. Furthermore, similarly design modifications are expected to be implemented in the Android and iOS apps sometime later this year.

The entire area looks cleaner and more entertaining than it did before, while the tabs make it easy to go from one area to the next and check out all the events, the invitations you received, the saved items and even the ones you’re hosting yourself.
