Cybervillains turn to colorful games instead of free prizes

Facebook cybercrooks are past the time when they offered free gift cards, iPads and meals. Now they've turned to popular games to promote their money making schemes.

“Play Mario Kart on Facebook with your Friends! Join the multiplayer mayhem NOW! Click here to play,” reads the message provided by Facecrook.

If the link is clicked, the next page features a large Play Now button which hides the classic survey. It allegedly wants answers from the victim to test if they are human.

Colorful games can hide a lot of nasty stuff and as usual, if you don't end up with a piece of malware, you'll at least fill the pockets of the tricksters by completing the poll.
