Facebook Is Getting a "Game of Thrones" Game

Game of Thrones proves to be one of the most popular TV shows of the moment, and not just with pirates.

And what's the best thing to do when you have a popular franchise? Well, milk it for all its worth, obviously. Incidentally, there's now going to be a Game of Thrones Facebook game.

There's no shortage of Game of Thrones games, there were even a couple before the books became a TV show, but there haven't been any Facebook games. Until now.

The game is currently in development, it's going to be called Ascent, and it's going to focus on getting your character to become more powerful.

It's going to rely on social dynamics as well, so it's going to make good use of Facebook's biggest asset, while also staying true to the series' core strengths.
