Facebook’s Adam Mosseri says his social networking company is in discussions with two of the biggest technology giants to integrate Facebook Home into their platforms.

One of those giants is Apple, whose iOS operating system is said to be at the core of these discussions for a potential integration with Facebook Home, a dedicated mobile platform for Facebook aficionados.

Adam Mosseri, director of product, tells Bloomberg, “We’ve shown them what we’ve built and we’re just in an ongoing conversation,” referring to Apple and Microsoft in particular.

Facebook Home was recently launched on Android platforms and has garnered mixed reviews. Many users are dissatisfied with the application launcher, and lots of voices say the software simply isn’t intuitive enough to use on a smartphone.

Even though Facebook and Apple are discussing Home, that doesn’t mean the Cupertino giant is keen on bringing it to its mobile OS. Companies always discuss stuff. And discussions like these often hit a dead end.
