Facebook's friendship pages are finally getting a revamp. You may not even know what they are, but friendship pages are actually a cool concept, though Facebook probably has a bit more work to do before these pages work like they should and could.
Still, it was the only part of Facebook that hadn't gotten the "timeline" redesign, but that's no longer the case. Facebook is now
rolling out the updated friendship pages to everyone.
You're not going to see them straight away because, like everything else Facebook does, this takes time. It took a year to roll out the Timeline to everyone, this will take less than that, but still, you're going to have to wait.
The new friendship pages look very much like the timeline, interesting common events, posts, photos are displayed chronologically, side by side.
You also get a cover photo, which actually makes a lot more sense for these pages. If you're in a relationship, you'll find the "friendship page" for you and your hubby at
facebook.com/us. For everyone else, you have to go to their profile, click on the "gear" icon and select "Friendship Page."
