British people are targeted on Facebook by a fake offer that promises high-worth gift cards for Argos, the popular store chain.

The usual sharing and liking is involved, members being urged to do this in order to receive the desired prize.

According to Graham Cluley, tens of thousands have already been duped to share the scam on their walls, thus attracting other unsuspecting internauts.

The ever present survey also shows up, requiring tons of personal information that will later be used by the shady marketers to bombard your inbox with malicious messages.

Make sure to quickly remove post from your wall if you've already clicked on the phony advertisement and alert all your friends so maybe we'll be able to put a stop to these hoaxes.
