No new features included just some performance improvements

The beta version of Facebook for Windows Phone devices has just been updated in the Windows Phone Store, but no official changelog has been revealed yet.

We would have expected lots of new features and improvements to be added, especially that Microsoft can now experiment with the beta version before it pushes the changes to the stable iteration of Facebook.

Unfortunately, that is not the case and those who already installed the application on their devices will probably not notice any major improvement.

The small update might include some minor bug fixes and slight enhancements to some of the features already present, but without an official changelog we can't be sure.

You can now download Facebook Beta for Windows Phone 5.1.1.1 for free via Windows Phone Store. Keep in mind the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8 and up.
