The official Facebook app for Windows 8.1 has received a brand new update this morning, so a new version is currently being delivered to users through the Store.

There are no release notes available at this point, but the new build most likely comes with fixes for some of the bugs found in the latest version.

Paradoxically, Facebook launched a major update during the weekend, bringing several new major options in the Windows 8.1 client, such as support for the share charm and the possibility to include pictures in comments.

Of course, the new version is aimed at all devices running Windows 8.1 or Windows RT 8.1, so you can install it on both desktops and tablets.

In case you’re already running the application right now, download Facebook for Windows 8.1 to make sure that all bugs and issues that might exist in your version are fully fixed.
