It’s only been a day since the Android beta testing program for Facebook Messenger was announced and now the Facebook beta receives a new update that promises a few exciting new features.

Keep in mind that this version of Facebook is meant for testing purposes, so it might be unstable. Unless you are into testing stuff, we do not recommend installing it.

In fact, Android users who have not enlisted for the Facebook beta testing program won’t even receive the update, so if you have already been accepted, it means that you want to try out new features before they get released for the general public.

The latest Facebook Beta 8.0.0.2.24 build brings a few new features to Android users. First of all, you will now be able to select photos to share in a faster and easier way.

In addition, Facebook beta testers ca now choose from additional options when pressing on comments. The third new feature included in this small update will allow users to quickly see a photo’s audience when tagging friends.

However, according to Facebook, the last feature listed will be rolled out to Android testers over the next couple of weeks, so don’t be surprised if you don’t find it as soon as you get the update.
