The new version brings new photo features, languages

Good news for Windows Phone 8 users, as Microsoft has just announced the Facebook application has just been updated with new photo features and languages.

According to developers, this is a major update, and version brings lots of useful upgrades. The most important seems to be a photo-related feature that allows users to attach pictures to their messages and upload them to Facebook in batches.

Microsoft also confirmed it has tripled the number of languages so it now supports 19. Other features included in this update are the options to “unfriend” and “unlike” directly from the palm of your hand.

Lots of navigation improvements and performance tweaks have been added as well, which are said to make checking-in and posting to Facebook faster and easier.

You can now download Facebook 5.1.1.0 for Windows Phone 8 via Softpedia. Keep in mind the application is only compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up.
