Fabulous Leg in “The Graduate” Was Linda Gray’s

Chances are, if you’re younger than 25 or even 30, you might not have heard of the iconic the 1967 film “The Graduate,” starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft. As it turns out, the gorgeous leg in the film and on the poster was not Anne’s.

In what is perhaps one of the most surprising revelations in movie trivia, “Dallas” star Linda Gray has revealed that the leg was hers and not Anne’s, because she wasn’t on set that day.

At the time, Gray was working as a model in London, so she jumped at the opportunity to do the leg pose, especially since it paid her $25 (€18,46).
