It's only in theory though

Fable II was one of the most anticipated RPGs (Role Playing Games) of last year's holiday season. Supervised by Peter Molyneux and delivered exclusively to the Xbox 360, the game impressed a lot of people through its wide variety of choices, intricate story and vast palette of characters, each and every one of them having a deep impact on the player.

A pretty interesting character, and one that a lot of Fable fans surely recognized, was Theresa, a blind fortune teller who was the sister of the main hero in the first game. While she did offer a few quests to the main character of the game, her reasons and goals were pretty mysterious.

When asked whether Theresa would appear in the future Fable, the design director of the game, Dene Carter, revealed that the motivations of Theresa were very intricate and, while they could be classified as somewhat selfish, the fact that she could read the future might actually make her do some interesting things.

“Fable 3? Well, theoretically, if we were to theoretically make a theoretical third game in the Fable series...Theresa's a hero. As someone who can see how the world's future unfolds from even the tiniest action, she's got her own game plan. Let's just say that being able to see the really big picture leads to some seemingly questionable decisions. As for Theresa justifying a huge expansion, we don't think expanding her would be good for her self-esteem: She's got a great figure – that's what celery does.”

While this isn't even a confirmation that the next Fable game is certain, we can be sure that Theresa will also make an appearance in that one. Hopefully we'll get to know more things as time goes by and as Peter Molyneux gets talkative again. Until then, we can still experience the great moments in Fable II's Albion.
