Not all strong PSUs need have myriads of certifications and trademarks

There are definitely a few gamers with nigh unlimited finances out there, but for those who can't afford to throw money away on PC components, FSP's BlueStorm may be just what the doctor ordered.

For those unaware, FSP is the channel brand of PSU maker Fortron Source.

Its BlueStorm Classic series will soon include a 450W model and a 550W PSU.

Both of them have active PFC, efficiency of over 85% (no 80 PLUS certification to back that claim though) and dual-forward switching topology.

One will also spot a hexagonal fan inlet and fixed, sleeved cabling for configurations with a single graphics card.

Finally, a 120mm fan keeps things cool on each new PSU.

Unfortunately, we have no price or ETA (estimated time of arrival) to share, but at least some pictures exist.
