David Rutter, the executive producer working on FIFA 14, says that the series might include specific player Artificial Intelligence in its future installments that will be powered by the Ignite engine.

At the moment, consoles are only offering enough power to give specific traits to the various roles associated with positions on the pitch.

The developer tells The Official PlayStation Magazine that, “We want to create the most comprehensive database of everything football.”

He adds, “we are starting to get much more deeply into creating those customised players and personalities on the pitch.”

Currently, the biggest stars of FIFA 14 have a clearly defined personality that determines how they act on the pitch.

FIFA 14 will be out on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, but only PS4 and Xbox One versions will have Ignite tech.
