The development team at EA Sports is announcing that it is bringing down FIFA 14 Ultimate Team once again in order to prepare the infrastructure for the launch of the next title in the very popular football simulation franchise, which is set to take place next week.

The official support site for Electronic Arts says that gamers will be unable to access the Ultimate Team experience, the mobile companion app, the web interface and the EA Sports Football Club.

Maintenance will start at 12 AM Pacific Daylight Time, which is 8 AM Greenwich Mean Time, and is expected to last for about six hours.

The studio will deliver more information on the status of the process later in the day.

FIFA 15 will be out on the PC, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles on September 23 in the United States and on September 25 in Europe.

The Ultimate Team mode will have a number of new features and EA Sports also wants to make sure that there is no cheating in the experience, with a new set of security measures implemented and a policy to ban gamers who cannot play by the rules and are affecting the security of the entire community.
