FIFA 2012 Now Available for Free for Xperia PLAY Owners

Sony Ericsson kicked-off its promotional offer for the Xperia PLAY back in August and those who own the smartphone are still getting free games for their devices. The latest title that adds to the long list of titles that are now available for free is EA Mobile’s FIFA 2012.

 

FIFA 12 is now available on Android only on Xperia PLAY, but Sony Ericsson stated that the game will be out for other Android handsets around February 2012.

 

Besides FIFA 2012, Xperia PLAY owners can also download for free four additional EA Mobile game titles: Dead Space, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Need for Speed Shift and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit.

 

These games are part of Sony Ericsson’s “Get In The Game” limited-time promotion for Xperia PLAY devices. According to Sony Ericsson, FIFA 12 will be available for free as part of this promotion until early 2012.

 

The handset maker also states that the game will also be available exclusively on the wider Xperia  range, including Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia neo, Xperia pro and Xperia ray smartphones.

 

Sony Ericsson plans to bring more titles to Xperia PLAY, including Reckless Getaway, Let’s Golf 3, Gibs & Gore, Protoxide, Battle Boats 3D, Stellar Escape, Meganoid, Death Worm, Desert Winds and more.

 

Some of these games are already available on the Xperia PLAY, while other will be launched in the near future.

 

With FIFA 12, football fans will be able to take control of some of the world’s best players, such as Rooney, ”Chicharito” Hernández, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

 

The gameplay has been improved with authentic commentaries and updated teams from the world’s top leagues, while the new replay systems and stadium designs enhance players’ experience.

 

To get the game simply slide the phone open and click the Game Launcher which should display the FIFA 2012 as available for download.
