It seems that the game will not be launched on mobiles

The development team at EA Sports in charge of FIFA 16 seems not to be interested in launching versions of the football simulation title on either the PlayStation Vita from Sony or the 3DS from Nintendo.

It also seems that no clear decision has been made about mobile installments for the title and that an announcement will be made at a later date.

A representative from Electronic Arts tells PocketGamer that "With regards to FIFA 16 there isn’t a Vita or 3DS version. We don’t have any further detail on the mobile version but will be sure to share with you when we hear more."

The developer has not talked about the Wii U, but it is unlikely that the underpowered Nintendo home console will get access to the football sim.

The developers have said that they are working to make sure that the coming experience is calibrated to offer impressive graphics and gameplay on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PC and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

The Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 will get Legacy versions of FIFA 16, which probably means that some of the new gameplay features will not be included.

The decision to no longer work on the Vita and the 3DS is probably linked to the limited sales that they can generate for a football title, especially in North America and in Europe.

When it comes to mobiles, EA Sports will probably deliver a FIFA 16-linked experience that acts more like a companion.

FIFA 16 is the first title in the series to introduce women's national teams

The big new feature revealed for the coming sim is that gamers will be able to choose, for the first time in the franchise, from among 12 women's national teams, to feature the best players in the world.

EA Sports will use entirely new motion capture and animation tech to make sure that FIFA 16 is as realistic as possible.

Women's teams can be played in a variety of game modes, but they will not be introduced in Ultimate Team and there are no plans to allow them to play against men outfits.

EA Sports says that more features for the simulation will be offered in June.

FIFA 16 will be introduced on September 24 of this year.
