EA Sports has confirmed that the FIFA 15 demo is out on the Xbox One and is also coming soon to other platforms.

This year's entry in the long-standing football video game franchise will see the PC version be on par with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 edition, a welcome change since last year, so PC gamers will also get to experience the enhanced gameplay offered by the Ignite engine.

EA Sports' in-house engine powers most of its sports titles, such as EA Sports UFC, NHL 15 and NBA Live 15, delivering greatly increased visual fidelity and an incredible player likeness based on the company's enhanced scanning technology.

Demos and platforms

FIFA 15's demo was scheduled for today, September 9, and tomorrow, September 10, and it's already available for the Xbox One computer entertainment system. According to a tweet from EA Sports, the demo will also make its way to the Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC platforms.

The PlayStation demos will most likely come out around the time of local PlayStation Network updates, so make sure to check in and see if they're not available in your region.

The company has not revealed too many details regarding the demo version of the game, but it has listed the available teams to be Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain.

Furthermore, EA Access subscribers will also get a 6-hour trial on the Xbox One, a week before the game's release.

You don't like football? That's okay

Furthermore, a post on Origin reveals that gamers might be interested in getting their hands on the demo just to see whether their system can handle the Ignite engine, even if they're not interested in football video games, in order to get an idea of what it's capable of and see whether they need to upgrade in preparation for the company's upcoming sports games.

All of the company's next-gen games will be powered by Ignite, so if you're planning on getting any of them in the future on PC, you would do well to test your rig ahead of time, avoiding any potential issues that might hamper your gameplay experience.

FIFA 15 is coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, scheduled to hit on September 23 in North America and September 25 in Europe. A legacy edition that lacks many of the new features is also headed to the Nintendo 3DS, Wii, PlayStation Vita and mobile platforms, offering almost everyone a chance to play a virtual version of their favorite pastime.
