Following the official reveal of the new FIFA 15 title from EA Sports, the development team working on the new installment in the long-running series says that it will use the full power of the Ignite engine for the PC version of the title.

The same technology will also be used for the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony, while the older Xbox 360 and PS3 will use older tech that will deliver a less impressive game experience.

The company has also listed, on the official site, the system requirements for all those who plan on playing FIFA 15 on the PC when it is launched later in the year.

Recommended Specifications

Operating System: Windows Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8 or 8.1 - 64-bit Intel i5-2550K running at 3.4Ghz or better processor 8 GB of RAM 15 GB of free hard drive space ATI Radeon HD 6870 or Nvidia GTX 460 or better graphics cards DirectX 11.0

More information about all the versions of FIFA 15 will be offered on June 9 during the official Electronic Arts press conference for E3 2014.

The game is probably set to arrive on all core platforms at some point in late September of this year and will face competition from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 from Konami.

EA Sports has not offered any details on the elements of the football simulation that it wants to improve for this year’s installment, but statements from its leaders have suggested that players should expect an evolution rather than a revolution.

At the moment, gamers can still enjoy FIFA 14, which is selling well and has just received quite a bit of new content that delivers 2014 Brazil World Cup elements for both the Kick-Off and the Ultimate Team modes.

Gamers can use any of the teams that have qualified for the real-world event and all the players have entirely new stats that are based on their international performance.

Before the real-world tournament starts, in less than one week, FIFA 14 will get another roster update with updated players.
