The development team at EA Sports has managed to finally launch the Web App for the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 15, after a final one-day delay, but the company admits that access to it can be limited for some players and that the entire service is at the moment running slower than it should because of high traffic coming from users.

All those interested can log in using the official link, as long as they have or create a valid account for the Origin program, and the company is advising all gamers who are experiencing issues to report them as soon as possible so that the developers can take a look at their cause.

The official Twitter message from EA Sports also says that work is continuing on the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Web App and that the studio will not rest until it manages to make sure that it runs as well as it can for all those involved.

The fan community is at the moment pretty angry at the company for the late launch and for the issues that the service is still having, and the public sentiment might impact the launch of FIFA 15.

A focus on the Ultimate Team mode

Since it was introduced, the Ultimate Team mode for the FIFA series has become ever more popular and has created a very solid revenue stream for Electronic Arts, which means that the developers are under pressure to introduce new features and make sure that it runs as smoothly as possible.

The new Web App introduces a new login verification system in order to make sure that all accounts are safe from any sort of outside interference and there are more security measures designed to make sure that cheaters cannot have a big impact on the title.

EA Sports also has plans to issue bans to all those who break the rules of FIFA 15 to keep the playing field secure.

FIFA 15 is already available for fans

At the moment, all those who have signed up for the EA Access service on the Xbox One can check out the full version of FIFA 15, even if there’s a limit to how long they can play.

The title will be out on September 23 in North America and on September 25 in Europe and can be played on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4, last-gen consoles and the PC.

A demo for the football sim is also now available on all platforms.

The team is working to have the Web App accessible for more gamers. Functionality will be slower than usual due to high usage. #FUT — EA SPORTS FIFA (@EASPORTSFIFA) September 18, 2014
