The development team at EA Sports is announcing that it is introducing a range of new content for FIFA 15, in the form of Hero items, allowing gamers to get access to some of the players that have performed special skill feats during the season.

The company says that the first line-up of new purple items will be available until May 11 at 18 PM Greenwich Mean Time, but after that the availability will be restricted to only 24 hours.

The new feature for FIFA 15 includes the Award Hero, for players who have picked up league recognition, and the Club Hero, who has managed to make an important contribution for their team in a big moment.

EA Sports adds, "Like Team of the Week or Man of the Match items, a player’s hero item will be rated higher than his previous in-form but below his potential Team of the Season and/or Team of the Year in-form. If a player who is already selected for the Community Team of Season receives a Hero item before Team of the Season launches, he will not be removed from the Community TOTS."

The developers also want to know what the community thinks about Hero items for FIFA 15 and plans to make changes based on feedback.

Gamers can get access to a range of stars, including Hazard and Kane

The first batch of Award Heroes for the football sim includes Eden Hazard from Chelsea and Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur. The first one is the winner of the Player of the Year award, and winner of the League Cup and the Premier League. Meanwhile, Kane is the recipient of the Young Player of the Year award and the scorer of 30 goals.

Apart from that, gamers can also get access to Joe Garner from Preston North End, Patrick Bamford of Middlesborough, Dele Alli from MK Dons, and Stefan Johansen of Celtic.

When it comes to those who did well for their club, the package includes: Callum Wilson from Bournemouth, Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro of Shrewsbury Town, Troy Deeney from Watford, Dean Lewington of MK Dons, Tom Soares from Bury, Jordan Hugill of Hartlepool United, Danny Ward from Rotherham United, Ramy Bensebaini of Lierse S.K., and George Moncur from Colchester United.

EA Sports is currently also planning to deliver a regular Team of the Week for the Ultimate Team tomorrow, but the Team of the Season package is still delayed.
