Video game developer EA Sports announces that it is launching the first title update for FIFA 15 on the PC and that it plans to also deliver it as soon as possible on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

Gamers who download it will be able to experience improved core gameplay and all those who aim to play online need to get it as soon as possible in order to make sure that they can enter the matchmaking process.

The company states in the official announcement that all the changes that have been made to FIFA 15 are based on feedback coming from the community since the football title was launched, both on social media channels and on the official forums.

The Ultimate Team mode now has a latency indicator which allows gamers to see the health of the connection before a match starts, and there are also better cameras for the set pieces in the Online Seasons.

Home crowds for Match Day Live games are now corrected and a number of hospitality upgrades have been introduced.

An exploit which allows for infinite switching of set piece takers is eliminated and Ultimate Team matches in FIFA 15 now should always progress to menus when they end.

Changes to both subs and reserves now should be brought into Season matches.

There are also two PC-only fixes: "Fixed issue where non-user controlled players run to the kick-off circle at the start of a match. Fixed occurrences where players couldn’t progress through the Virtual Pro creation."

At the moment, it is unclear when the console versions of FIFA 15 will get access to the changes listed above or if there are any other feature changes planned.

A commitment to improving FIFA 15

EA Sports also says that it is continuing to listen to the information coming from the community and that everything fans have to say is being taken into account when it comes to the creation of any future patches.

The company has not said yet whether it plans to perform any changes to the core mechanics of FIFA 15.

Some gamers have been complaining about the effects of pace and about the ease with which some players were able to dribble their way through defenses.

FIFA 15 was launched at the end of September and has been dominating software sales charts so far and it will continue to be a solid seller in the coming months and well into 2015.
