The development team at EA Sports is showing its dedication to realism for the upcoming FIFA 15 by announcing that all 20 stadiums that are part of the real world Barclays Premier League competition, widely seen as the most popular national championship in the world, will be completely simulated in the coming title.

All the locations look, sound and feel as they do when fans actually go there to watch matches, and the developers say that the crowds are also designed to resemble their real life counterparts as much as possible.

In FIFA 14, only eight stadiums were fully simulated.

At the same time, EA Sports is introducing an upgraded look for the players of clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool or Arsenal by making sure that their faces are well simulated.

The studio states in an official announcement that “Over 200 new player heads will be scanned into FIFA 15 from the 2013/14 Premier League teams and will be joined by promoted teams. We use the latest 3D scanning technology to capture a player’s true likeness and give them the most realistic version of themselves in a football game.”

Elements likes team sheets, formations, scores, the clock, players stats, and more in FIFA 15 are modeled on Premier League television feeds in order to improve the feeling of immersion for fans.

EA Sports adds, “We visited and captured cheers, chants and sounds from over 20 live Barclays Premier League matches. FIFA 15 will have realistic audio to goal reactions, misses, whistles and over two hours of crowd-specific songs.”

For the first time in the series, the company is also set to implement its own version of goal-line technology, which means that gamers will never have to doubt whether the ball has actually crossed the line, with slow-motion replays set to show the exact anatomy of every phase.

FIFA 15 will be offered on September 26 in the United States and two days later in Europe, and it will be playable on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the PC and last-gen devices.

The new Ignite engine will introduce more realism to the experience, with a bigger focus on the emotions that players feel on the pitch and smarter overall AI that can create more complex phases.

At the same time, gamers will get a range of upgrades for the very popular Ultimate Team experience that have not yet been revealed.
