14 DAY TRIAL // FIFA 15 is a very complex video game with plenty of modes and one of the most important in the last few years is Ultimate Team, which allows gamers to assemble their own teams from packs and then challenge friends and rivals.
On the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, the development team at EA Sports is offering an exclusive Legends mode with players who have marked the history of football in the last few decades, and the special mode will get access to 15 new players this year.
The developers are now ready to reveal the ratings for the new players, who include Valderama, the Laudrup brothers, Keane and Shearer.
The top rated addition to FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Legends is Beckenbauer, at 93, followed by Baresi with 92 and Stoichkov, at 90.
EA Sports states, “There will be surprises, omissions and discussion as to the placement of players on these lists. Feel free to join the conversation on Twitter and Facebook to voice your own opinions with the hashtag #FIFA15Ratings.”
The newly revealed 15 Legends players will be offered on the Xbox One and the 360 all through the year.
The existing 41 players included in the mode are available at launch and their overall ratings have not changed in any way since 2013.
Ultimate Team is big business
In the last few years, sales from Ultimate Team for all the sports titles created by Electronic Arts have begun generating a lot of revenue for the company, and the team creating them is aiming to increase their addictiveness.
The Legends mode is only offered on Microsoft platforms but most gamers are focused on rosters created with modern players, and the Team of the Week packages, which highlight the best performers, are always important for gamers.
The Ultimate Team mode for the next installment in the series is designed to include a new feature called Concept Squads, which makes it simpler for gamers to decide what kind of team they are aiming for and then work to recruit the players needed.
At the same time, there’s a new option to loan superstars, which can give a temporary boost to a team as long as the gamer is ready to pay a price.
FIFA 15 will be launched on the PC, the Xbox One, the 360, the PlayStation 4 and the PS3 on September 23 in North America and September 25 in Europe.
