There are also very good players in the rest of the top 50

The development team at EA Sports is revealing that Lionel Messi, the player who is currently the star of both Barcelona and the Argentine national team, is the best rated player in the upcoming FIFA 15 video game experience.

Second place in the top 50 player ratings that the company is offering to long-time fans is occupied by his biggest rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is playing for Portugal and for Real Madrid, but the overall capabilities of the two players are very similar and the number one position is more disputed than it looks at first sight.

Those who do not like playing with the two dominating teams of the Spanish championship can take a look at the third place player in FIFA 15’s ratings, Arjen Robben of Bayern Munchen, a very hard working player who can support blistering attacks.

The best of the rest

The top ten created by EA Sports includes a number of other superstars, each of whom can support an entire team: Ibrahimovic, Neuer, Iniesta, Suarez, Schweingsteiger, Rybert and the United Kingdom cover star, Hazard.

All the ratings delivered by the development studio are based on the performance that players have put in during the last 365 days both in championship and in cup matches.

The rating of a player is important in both the core single-player modes and in the Ultimate Team experience, and the development team will offer updates as the football season progresses in the big championships, with the aim of making the virtual player’s form reflect the situation seen in the real world.

The studio will offer more details about other ratings associated with FIFA 15 before it is officially launched.

FIFA 15 is an evolution of the genre

FIFA 15 is one of the biggest launches of the coming fall season, designed to arrive on the PC, the PlayStation 4 from Sony, the Xbox One from Microsoft and last-gen consoles on September 23 in North America and on September 25 in Europe.

The title will introduce a wide range of changes to the core simulation experience and to most of the modes, with smarter teammates which can read a complex move both in attack and defense, more capable goalkeepers and a new take on the classic Ultimate Team mode.

The title will have competition from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, which will be launched by Konami in November of this year.
