The launch date for FIFA 15 is rapidly approaching and the development team at EA Sports is ready to deliver some more ratings about players to the fan community, allowing them to plan which team they want to control and how they will create their Ultimate Team.

The company has already revealed the best 50 players, but hardcore gamers will want to have more detailed information, focused on the various abilities of the men they will control on the pitch.

In the FIFA series, speed is very important because it allows an attacking player to quickly get past defensive lines, while giving defenders a chance to quickly move back and stop the other side from threatening goal.

The fastest player in the coming installment of the game is Mathis Bolly, a relatively unknown professional who is at the moment contracted by German club Fortuna Dusseldorf.

He was born in Olso and started playing football at the Tippeligaen side Lillestrom, at the moment also trying to get into the Ivory Coast national team.

In FIFA 15, younger players are the ones that are the fastest, with some recognizable superstars like Walcott and Messi also included in the top twenty, but most gamers will have to do a little research in order to find out who the rest are.

The ratings are based on the performance of the players over the past 365 days, both in cup and in league matches, and the development team invites all fans to comment on the choices they have made.

An evolution rather than a revolution

FIFA 15 delivered a demo last week on all platforms, which is designed to allow players to take a look at all the core mechanics before the full title is out, with eight of the best teams in the world included.

EA Sports has already said that it has significantly improved the intelligence of all the players that are present on the pitch, with a focus on the goalkeepers, who now have access to more than 50 new animations.

The game will also introduce a variety of new changes to the other main modes, including the ever popular Ultimate Team, with new Concept Squads and loanable superstars.

FIFA 15 will be launched on the PlayStation 4, the PC, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles and will be offered on September 23 in North America and on September 25 in Europe.
