Electronic Arts' Sports division has confirmed that the upcoming FIFA 14 football simulator will feature 19 of the best clubs from Brazil, as the company has just signed a big agreement with them to feature their club crests, kits, and players in the new title.

FIFA 14 is shaping up to be a brand new and quite big addition to the franchise, as it's going to be the first to appear on the new next-gen consoles, in the form of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, where it will be powered by the new Ignite Engine.

Now, EA has confirmed that, besides featuring over 30 leagues, 600 clubs, and 16,000 players, FIFA 14 will also include 19 of the top football clubs from Brazil, with the best teams from the Serie A signing on with the publisher to appear in the game.

"We’re very excited to bring the stars of the top Brazilian clubs into our games," said David Rutter, executive producer of the FIFA franchise, in a statement.

"For all our fans that support and love Brazilian football, this will only add to the authentic FIFA experience they enjoy, and the additional clubs will bring undiscovered players from Brazil into the FIFA Ultimate Team universe."

FIFA 14 doubles the number of Brazilian teams as opposed to last year's FIFA 13.

These include: Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Paranaense, Botafogo, Coritiba, Criciúma, Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Fluminense, Goiás, Grêmio, Internacional, Náutico, Palmeiras, Ponte Preta, Portuguesa, Santos, São Paulo, Vasco da Gama, and Vitória.

What's more, Electronic Arts promises that more new leagues and clubs will be included in FIFA 14 before its launch in North America on September 24 and in Europe and around the world on September 27.

As such, more announcements about the game's content and its different regional covers, should appear soon enough.

FIFA 14 will be out for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PS Vita, PS2, and PSP, not to mention the PS4 and Xbox One.
