The development team at EA Sports working on the Ultimate Team mode for FIFA 14 announces that Garry Neville, who is currently serving as a coach for the England national team, is also an ambassador for the game experience.

In his new role, the former Manchester United player will write a bi-weekly column on the official site that will offer gamers a deeper understanding of the game mode and recommend the in form players of the period.

Neville is quoted as saying, “FIFA has become such an integral part of football culture that I hope to bring benefit to the fans. FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars, I can’t wait to see myself out on the (digital) pitch again.”

The defender will also be part of the Legends mode for Ultimate Team, which will be offered on Xbox platforms.

FIFA 14 will be out on September 24 in North America and three days later in Europe on the PC and on current-gen consoles.
