Gamers can get five good players from finalist Germany

The development team at EA Sports is launching a new Team of the Knockout Stage package for the Ultimate Team game mode in FIFA 14, which allows players to pick up a number of very good players that can then be used by their own clubs.

At the moment, only a Twitter message revealed the roster of included players.

Unsurprisingly, given their historic victory over Brazil, German players are dominating the new line-up, with five players that have solid stats and can form the backbone of a very good team on their own, but there are also representatives of teams like Holland, Argentina, and Columbia.

The name of the package for FIFA 14 is a little over-encompassing, considering that the third place match and the final are still set to be played in the real world 2014 Brazil World Cup.

Earlier in the week, the studio has also delivered a classic Team of the Week for its football sim, featuring a number of lower-profile players from national championships.

At the moment, EA Sports is also working on FIFA 15, a game that is designed to introduce a number of yet unannounced new features for Ultimate Team, which will be delivered in late September of this year on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, the PC and current-gen consoles.
