14 DAY TRIAL // The development team at EA Sports is ready to offer more details about Teammate Intelligence, one of the most important new features of FIFA 14.
The team says in an official blog post that, “Players will have the intelligence to break down defenses by creating space for themselves and separation from defenders.”
The new feature of FIFA 14 is designed for both the offensive and the defensive, with Artificial Intelligence-controlled players able to perform better in their tactical role.
When a team is attacking, players will now be smarter about beating the offside trap and will also try to create space by launching false runs.
When a gamer is defending in FIFA 14, the intelligence increase will manifest itself in better coverage and more pressure on players who have the ball and seem ready to lose it.
FIFA 14 is expected to launch in late September.
