The development team at EA Sports announces that it has entered a deal with Liverpool Football Club for three years, which will make the coming FIFA 14 the official video game partner to the storied English team.

Billy Hogan, the chief commercial officer at Liverpool, states, “We know that so many of our Liverpool family, including fans and players, play EA SPORTS FIFA regularly so this new partnership will help bring the Club closer to our fans in innovative new ways.”

The deal means that the members of the team, including Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, are simulated with a high degree of detail in FIFA 14.

During selected home matches, fans of the club will be able to play the football simulation in areas of the stadium.

FIFA 14 will be launched on September 24 in North America and three days later in Europe.
