The PS4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 14 will be able to detect the Career Mode progress registered by an owner of FIFA 14 on the PS3 or Xbox 360 and, even if that progress can't be continued on the next-gen editions, they will offer different bonuses at the start of a new campaign.

FIFA 14 on the PS4 and Xbox One allows owners of the game on current consoles to continue various modes like the FIFA Ultimate Team one, but the Career mode can't be transferred from one generation to another.

As such, in order to reward players who have completed at least 15 matches in Career mode on the PS3 or Xbox 360, EA has confirmed on its forums that special bonuses will be offered in the next-gen versions of FIFA 14 based on the progress they detect.

"Regarding Career Mode - anytime you start a new Career you will be presented with a screen showing you the rewards you have been awarded and the option to disable some of them for that particular CM save file," EA said.

"You need to have played at least 15 games of Career Mode on Xbox 360/PS3 to qualify for these perks, and the more you played, the better the rewards. Below is a detailed breakdown of what you would get based on the amount of games played."

Check out the different bonuses below.

Tier 1 = Played at least 15 games • +1 to all Career Pro attributes • 1 Top GTN scout for one season • +15% Initial transfer budget

Tier 2 = Played at least one season • +3 to all Career Pro attributes • 1 Top GTN scout for one season • +30% Initial transfer budget • Rematch Ability

Tier 3 = Played at least 2 seasons • +5 to all Career Pro attributes • 1 Top GTN scout for one season • +60% Initial transfer budget • Rematch Ability • Edit Player functionality

FIFA 14 is already available on PS4 and launches tomorrow, November 22, for the Xbox One.
