FIFA 14 is now an official game and the team at the Canadian studio of EA Sports is explaining some of the biggest changes introduced via this year’s installment of the most popular football simulation.

Protect the Ball has been created with Barcelona in mind, with gamers now able to use the player’s body in new ways to make sure that the opposition cannot steal the ball away.

EA Sports says, “With the ball at their feet, players will be able to step into the opposition and hold them off to maintain possession and make a pass.”

Players who are expecting to receive a pass are also more aggressive and try to find the space they need to then threaten the opposition’s goal.

EA Sports has previously also offered details on the Pure Shot feature of FIFA 14.
