Electronic Arts has taken down the FIFA 13 Ultimate Team online service in order to solve some issues that have affected its various features, from online gameplay to trading and store purchasing.

FIFA 13 came out in September and went on to sell millions of units all around the world. Without a doubt one of its most addictive features is the Ultimate Team service, which allows players to create their own teams and play against others online.

Sadly, the service has been plagued by quite a lot of issues and security problems and now EA has confirmed that it's taken the whole service down once more in order to solve some new glitches.

According to the EA Sports Twitter account, the service will remain down until the issues are resolved but, as of yet, it's unclear just when that might actually happen.

Until EA is done, FIFA 13 owners won't be able to access the Ultimate Team service. All other online modes, however, are still playable.
