The development team at EA Sports announces that it will launch the new patch for their popular FIFA 13 on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 soon, after the certification teams at Sony and Microsoft make sure that the update has no problems.

The patch, which fixes a number of problems that the community has signaled since the latest update for the football simulation was launched, is designed to improve a number of aspects of FIFA 13, from how the computer handles certain mechanics to how the Ultimate Team mode works.

The certification process means that EA Sports is unable to say exactly when the update will be delivered on the Sony and Microsoft home consoles.

The changes will be automatically applied when the game starts, as long as the user is connected to the Internet.
