Just as FIFA 12 is being released all over the world, its producer, EA Sports' David Rutter, has already started talking about the next installment in the series, FIFA 13, which is certain to appear, like clockwork, in September, 2012.

FIFA 12 has quite a lot of major improvements over its predecessors, and people can finally check it out, not just through the demo released earlier this month, but also with the final edition, now no sale in North America and set to be released today in Europe.

Just as the game is being deployed, FIFA producer David Rutter is already looking forward to the next installment in the series, FIFA 13, and what sort of surprises might be included with the new game.

Speaking with CVG, Rutter highlights his excitement and hints that a lot of things that didn't get introduced in FIFA 12 might be included in the next game.

"We've got so much stuff we still want to do. EA Sports Football Club this year is brilliant, but there's even stuff we wanted to do this year that we didn't get to," said Rutter. "When people get to see that in the next few years, they're going to be totally blown away."

Rutter goes on, saying that there's always tweaking that can be done to the actual gameplay, as FIFA is still far away from truly recreating the perfect football experience.

"And gaming-wise, it's football, you know? Every game I watch, no matter how [bad] the teams, there's always something where I think 'we have got to do that'," he continued. "This year we've got players stepping into volleys, fantastic off the ball movement, pro player intelligence, and there's still more to come. I think we're delivering a brilliant game this year, and we've got some great ideas up our sleeve for next year too.

FIFA 12 has quite a lot of big improvements over its predecessor, chief among which being the new Player Impact Engine, which results in more realistic interactions between players during the actual matches.

After trying out FIFA 12 in demo or full form, what sort of features do you want to be included in the next FIFA 13?
