Video game publisher has announced that it has launched a hefty patch for the console versions of FIFA 12 today, fixing most if not all the problems that have been reported in the last few weeks, saying that it should really improve the experience for players. The company itself says that the biggest changes are a lowering of the quality of the CPU Artificial Intelligence in the Career Mode and a series of improvements made to the Ultimate Team type of game.
Most of the gameplay fixes seem designed to make the game flow better and allow the player to perform the exact action he was thinking of.
Some of the biggest issues that I have found while playing FIFA 12 have to do with goofy interactions linked to the Player Impact Engine and are probably hard if not impossible to fix.
EA is also continuing to investigate the disconnection problems that are affecting about 2 percent of those who play Ultimate Team.
Here's a link to the
full patch notes, which list more fixes and changes than you will care to read.
