EA Sports is quickly ramping up the excitement level related to its football simulation FIFA 10, set to be released in about a month. The videogame, which is one of the best sold franchises for EA Sports, should get a demo on September 10, which is today, in Europe and one week later in North America. Players who are interested in how the game plays before pre-ordering it or buying it in a store can get the demo version on the PlayStation Network, the Xbox Live Marketplace or by accessing the EA Sports official website.

The demo will allow gamers to play one entire match using teams like Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Marseille and Chicago Fire.

It will try to exhibit all the changes made to FIFA 10 and players can also upload videos created with it to the EA Sports Football World. This marks the relaunch of the online football oriented website which Electronic Arts is maintaining, where news about the series is offered and where players can create profiles and share content with other fans. The site is available in English, in French and in German.

On EA Sports Football World, the developers are also introducing a new feature called Game Face, a tool that allows players to upload their own photos and create their own in-game character. The face can then be downloaded in FIFA 10 to be used by the Virtual Pro player in the game, playing along the virtual representations of Lampard, Kaka or Robinho while also completing challenges and earning various rewards.

FIFA 10 is set to introduce a new dribbling system, more complex crossing options, better pass through abilities and, of course, a lot of graphical updates and new player stats when it launches on October 2 in Europe and on October 20 in North America.
