A little over a month ago, a new video for FIAT came out: starring none other than Jennifer Lopez, it was meant to show that one never really forgets where one comes from. In this case, Jenny from the Bronx. The video (see above) shows JLo driving from Manhattan to the Bronx, while speaking about the strength that comes with remembering your old stomping grounds.
The other day, The Smoking Gun revealed that, while the video was shot in the Bronx, all footage with JLo was actually shot on a sound stage in LA, where she was already working on a video.

confirms this, including that they used a body double for all the scenes showing Lopez outside the car.
“Both FIAT commercials featuring Jennifer Lopez were indeed filmed in the Bronx as well as outside locations. In today's world, people are increasingly mobile and their work takes them to a variety of locations,” the statement says.
“As a result, we took the opportunity to film wherever Ms. Lopez was working at the time to accommodate her schedule,” adds FIAT.
