She’s gorgeous, has a body to kill for, and is one of the highest paid models with Victoria’s Secret. It’s hard to mistake Miranda Kerr for someone else – yet this is precisely what FHM India did in its latest issue.

The magazine includes an entire photospread with “Miranda” in lingerie, looking drop-dead stunning – and very much like the Miranda the entire world knows.

As if that’s not enough, the magazine also comes with a piece on the model, in which are included quotes about her baby – first son Flynn –, her husband Orlando Bloom and generalities about life as a model and motherhood.

The only problem is, as Gather points out, that the woman in all the photos is not Miranda. She may resemble her from some angles and has just as amazing a body as she does, but it’s not her.

“FHM India apparently has no idea who the Victoria’s Secret babe is, despite featuring her in a multi-page layout and article,” Gather writes.

“The Indian men’s mag is displaying several photos of the Australian knockout in the August 2011 edition, but they appear to be of someone else,” says the e-zine.

No word yet on who the lookalike may be or how this embarrassing situation came to happen. The aforementioned publication has an idea.

“Is this what occurs when you outsource the jobs of hardworking Americans? Calling overseas for tech support is one thing, but this is going too far. Nevertheless, the woman in the layout kind of resembles Kerr, so maybe people won’t notice,” the report notes.

This is not the first time that FHM puts its food in it, though reaction is slower than it was the previous time.

In June this year, male model Andrej Pejic was voted by readers among the top 100 hottest women in the world and, in his profile, the mag called him a “thing.”

Readers were outraged about it and immediately made themselves heard, prompting a half-sincere apology from the mag.
