During the next few years, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is expected to bring to the market new handsets running under the Symbian operating system, and to continue offering support for the OS, it seems that the Nokia T7-00

would be one of these handsets.

The mobile phone has just made an appearance into the wild, rumored to be on its way to the Chinese market, and also received the necessary FCC approvals, which further confirms its existence.

Moreover, the filing with the Federal Communications Commission shows that the device would be set to make an appearance on shelves at China Mobile, since it packs TD-SCDMA capabilities.

This is not the first time when the Nokia T7-00 is said to be on its way to the Chinese market, and it seems that things have been almost confirmed on this.

In addition to showing that the Nokia T7-00 would be on its way to the market in China, the FCC filing unveils another thing that was already rumored, the fact that it would arrive with a similar form factor as the Nokia N8.

However, it would boast lower specs, thus being expected to feature a lower price tag when made available for purchase at the said wireless carrier.

The mobile phone should arrive on shelves with a large touchscreen display, which can boast a 640 x 360 pixels resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The Nokia N8, for those who might not be in the knowing, comes with a 12MP camera. The already available handset also includes a HDMI port, which is missing from the new device.

Apparently, no specific info on the availability of the new Nokia T7-00 on the market in China emerged for the time being.

However, rumor has it that it should not be too long before the device is released on shelves in the country, with Nokia's latest OS flavor on board, Symbian Anna. Stay tuned for more on this.
