Nokia's 6110 Navigator was first introduced during this year's 3GSM World Congress and comes with integrated GPS, 3G and quad-band GSM. Recently, the handset has also received the Federal Communications Commission's approval.

Designed by the Finish manufacturer as a mobile navigation solution, it features turn-by-turn 3D navigation, is able to suggest the best route and comes with pre-installed local maps and routing at the click of a single key. The maps also include thousands of points of interest that are nearby the location of the user who will also be able to view the businesses' phone numbers or web addresses for more information.

It provides a full personal navigation experience as well as all the features Nokia has accustomed us to expect from one of their handsets. Its owner will be able to enjoy taking snapshots with the 2 megapixel camera, view them on a 2.2 inch 16 million color screen or store them on a MicroSD card slot. Other features include media player with support for MP3, AAC, MPEG4 file formats, Office applications, Push to talk, HSDPA for high speed data of up to 3.6 Mbps and 3G capabilities (video calling).

Since it's a S60 Symbian phone, its user will also be able to take advantage of the wide variety of applications that are available for the platform. Nokia's 6110 is expected to come out with a price tag of around 450 Euro. When it comes to the US, there's not really any info on when it will start shipping, but having been FCC approved is definitely a hint that it won't be long now.
