Sony Ericsson announced their HBH-DS980 Stereo Bluetooth Headset more than two months ago. It has reached FCC only now for approval and will soon hit the markets.

Having FCC's approval makes this device ready for being released and soon hitting stores. This is a stylish accessory which weighs little under 30 grams, but is capable of reaching high performances. It is capable of delivering wireless music and calls at considerably high quality. The fact that it also has noise reduction features enabled makes the HBH-DS980 Stereo Bluetooth Headset provide just the same results even in noisy surroundings.

Digital noise cancellation, also called echo reduction technology to reduce background noise proves to be highly efficient for providing the best sound quality. This Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 Stereo Headset uses the Bluetooth 2.0 standards along with A2DP (stereo via Bluetooth) for providing wireless solutions for the user.

Battery life is capable of lasting up to 6 hours of continuous usage. Moreover, the multipoint function enables pairing with more than one device at a time. Advantages for these features are considerably high, as the user will not have to switch between the two handsets if he needs to use them both. The HBH-DS980 Stereo Bluetooth Headset provides solution for Advanced Audio Distribution, Audio/Video Remote Control and PhoneBook Access too.

The headset makes it possible to listen to music wirelessly either from a mobile phone or a computer. If used on a handset, music automatically stops when the user receives a call and continues to play from the moment when the user hangs up.

The Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 Stereo Bluetooth Headset will be available starting with the third quarter of this year. This makes FCC's approval come just in time for having the device prepared to hit the stores in the near future.
