The developers at Codemasters working on F1 Race Stars have announced that the arcade racing title now has a launch date of November 16 on the PC, the PlayStation 3 from Sony and the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

Gamers who are interested in the carton-looking game can now pre-order it from their favorite stores.

F1 Race Stars is designed to appeal to those who are interested in Formula 1 but are not interested in committing time and attention to the official simulation that’s also being created by Codemasters.

The new arcade style game will also use official circuits, official team colors and official cars.

The official developer description adds: “In the sprint for the chequered flag, gamers can pick and choose from a range of fantasy and FORMULA ONE themed power-ups, from calling in Wet Weather to slow the pack, deploying DRS to speed past rivals and using a range of sneaky bubbles to trap other drivers.”
