F1 2015, the next Formula 1 game from Codemasters, has apparently leaked online, as what seems to be an internal newsletter shows impressive screenshots and a few technical details about it, such as the goal for the game to run at a 60fps framerate on PS4.

Codemasters has a long history of delivering impressive racing experiences, not just in its Grid or Dirt franchises, but also as part of partnerships with motorsport brands like Formula 1.

Last year's F1 2014 appeared only on PC and the last-gen consoles (i.e. PS3 and Xbox 360), while Codemasters has promised that the 2015 edition of the game will appear on new devices, like PS4 and Xbox One, with an array of enhanced features, such as a dynamic roster of pilots and new car designs.

F1 2015 has just leaked and is looking good

Now, the first glimpse at F1 2015 has leaked online, thanks to NeoGAF, which brings forth photos of an internal newsletter from Codemasters about the upcoming racing game.

As you can see in the gallery below, F1 2015 is shaping up to look very good and there are also a few technical details present, as the developers mention that they’re striving to deliver a 60fps framerate for the PS4 version of the game. Right now, it's reaching anywhere between 45 to 55fps, so the end goal can be achieved in the near future.

The details also mention a final three-month push before the game's release, so F1 2015 could debut at the end of spring or beginning of summer, as opposed to the fall launch periods of previous games in the series.

As of yet, Codemasters hasn't mentioned anything about the leak and might not do so until it's confident with its new project. Bear in mind that it could still be a fake leak, so take the images below with a grain of salt until something official appears in the future.
